1. Increase public awareness and understanding of invasive species, their effects on local ecosystems and species, and ways to reduce their impact and spread.

2. Coordinate scientific research efforts to understand the spread and effects of invasive species in the Indonesian environment.

3. Conduct policy advocacy to reduce and control invasive species entry into Indonesia, as well as strengthen existing control efforts.

4. Provide resources and guidance to individuals, groups, and institutions involved in invasive species control and prevention efforts.

5. Develop strategic partnerships with relevant institutions, government, and civil society to achieve conservation goals.

The Indonesian Invasive Species Action Network (IISAN) is a community that focuses on environmental conservation efforts in Indonesia by overcoming the problem of invasive species. We consist of researchers, academics, environmental conservationists, activists, and the general public who care about nature conservation. With the support of scientific research, policy advocacy, public education, and cross-sector collaboration, we are committed to protecting Indonesia's biodiversity from the threat of invasive species and promoting sustainable management of natural resources.
